This car was factory built in 1978 by California Custom Coach in
Pasadina. It has only been driven 110 miles in 25 years! I bought
this car for my collection from a private collector who had it in
his 32 car collection and private museum. This car sat in his collection
for 20 years when I acquired this one of a kind head turner with only
86 miles on her at the time. Since owning her I have only driven her
for 24 miles. She now resides in my private collection and kept in
a temperature controlled car bubble awaiting a new home.
This very rare (without the standard flex headers) custom designed
by Gordon Miller Buehrig. One of the most beautiful cars of the 1930s,
the Auburn Boattail Speedster, was the ultimate American streamlined
car. Seventeen feet long and weighing almost two tons the flowing
body lines gave the impression of speed. Gordon Buehrig designed another
